Caroline Corrigan is our Sewing Tutor for Kilmarnock.
Caroline started work for Jaeger tailoring in Kilmarnock in 1976.
She worked her way up to a top grade(4) machinist managing all Sewing skills within the trade.
In 1991 she obtained a city and guilds as a Sewing machine instructor and was employed by Jaeger's to facilitate these skills. Later she worked for Saxone (British shoe company) then locally for 18 years as supervisor in a soft furnishing workroom as supervisor.
Caroline has moved on now and works with the community as a tutor/youth worker and loves nothing more than helping pass on her skills to others. The UK has lead the way industrially in Sewing and we would love to see a return of these skills to all.
Caroline has a full PVG for working with children and vulnerable adults.
